the play. , thanksgiving ,things i did as a child.

Lol and behold i the post master has returned.

our newest play to add to my list is grims fairy tales. something my brother would love to do. not me.
however i still did it.

i had the part of( drumroll please)DUNDUN DEE DUN DEE DUN DEE DUN DEE DUN DUN THUMP owDEE stopDEE DUN your DEE DUN. drumming DEE onDUN my head.

* clears throat* The woodcutter in HANSEL AND GRATEL.

so i had a kinda of a main part.

in hansel and gratel i had two kids( hansel and gratel duh) a wife( how did i merry such a hag) AND........ my ax.( actully a piece of cloth.)

there were two other plays. repunzel, and the travelling musicians.
hansel and gratel was the longest but they were all kinda short.

aiden played the part of the prince in repunzel.

now we have done four plays we have never done one with romentic parts in it. repunzel broke this record.

poor aiden had to get down on his knees and ask repunzel to marry him.( who alyssa is playing. if you wanted to know) almost everybody giggled a little as aiden got to his knee and ask for her hand in marridge
( the enter time having a Why me look on his face. though not during the play. only rehearsels.)

this play was diffrent from my other plays due to this things.

FIRST.... the stage was a circle where the viewer watched from all sides... this toke careful planning so no one was in front of a viewer.

SECOND.... we had no props except our bodys and a piece of cloth. a cloth was handed to every acter.

it is very strange to see people try to make a house with a door and windows.. or to see a stove made of humen flesh and cloth.

with our bodys we made. towers, trees, bushes, stoves, campfire, table, chairs.

all made of cloth and our bodys..

during our last rehearsel we had things going bonkers everywhere.

korin. one of our major part in the musicians started to stutter. people kept on talking during someones lines.
A little girl called sirena toke it upon herself to say everyone line who would pause for a split second. sometimes not even waiting.

once during the play i was getting to my spot so i could say my lines. she however having no trust in he follew
acter decaided that i had forgotin my lines started to say my lines which not only didnt make sense coming from her but made it sound bad because i had to say that line to make my any sense.
quickly saying my lines over her trying to finshe them i finally made it look ok.

the play want ok and it didnt go badly...but there was mistakes.

at the end we ate cookies and cake and other such goodies.

we siging each other papers. my signing is
Jacob the great 1.

than tylor declared war when he signed
tylor greater than jacob.

soon a small war broke out as each of us started to sign our names like.

tylor the the best and the greater who s much better than jacob.

or

Jacob the great who kick tylors little butt.

and so forth......

after this little play my mother showed me the vidoe she made of it.

i was aghost emberressed and strangly sane.

the video showed that some of us were hard to hear.( in the way of speaking to fast or not nearly loud enough.)
some of it lacked good acting.

as i look at it i find myself thinking. either the audience are very kind or blind as bats and and deaf.

im not saying there was some good parts. my brother Jonah( who never did much acting with the group ive worked with or at all at fact) made himself quite heard and manage to put much personelity into his voice. sean did fine with his part of the witch. he was a little hard to understand but he did fine.

but we could have done much better.

the best play ive done was wind in the willows.

i thought for us it wass the best of the plays we have done togather. it was also our first one too.

we have done four plays.
wind in the willows, alice through the looking glass, phontom tollbooth, grims fairy tales.

grandma come for thanksgiving.

there was the normel thing one haves for thankgiving

turnips, soup, duck, carrots, stuffing.

wait a minute....
DUCK.

sorry i meant turkey.

you know the pilgrims should have had goose instead of turkey. it adds class and better taste.

AND KNOW.

thoughts as they come to my mind.

right now.

you know thats part of my thinking that right now thing.

than again.

LOLZ.

thing i did as a young toddler starts in a car. a purple car. a dirty purple car. a smelly old dirty purple car.

long road trips were boring but i had little things to keep quite so i didnt drive my parents crazy.

those long phone lines. i used to watch them go up and down. kinda waiting for the wire to drop as long as possiple.
